What happened, in one paragraph

The Niners somehow found a way (again), while the Lions - up 24-7 at half - endured one of the most heartbreaking second half collapses in NFL history. The Chiefs held the Ravens to just 10 points - though Baltimore also held itself back with WAY too many penalties and costly turnovers - to keep their back-to-back bid alive.

Main Playoffs Pick'em

• Weekly performance: 43% win rate. Our below-.500 performance owed to our only big pick (Ravens, 67%) losing. For the playoffs, we're at 56% overall
• Leaders: @Mrully88 and @dychez (12-0). We went from 6 people being 10-0 to just two brave souls standing at 12-0. Had the Lions held on, we'd have zero undefeateds

100 Tier Playoffs Pick'em results

• Weekly performance: 47%. Our 100 Tier folks didn't pick the Ravens as heavily as the main Pick'em, which led to a better performance. 100 Tier is at 57% for the playoffs overall
• Leaders: @sheaujay, @Ziqness, @PaddyK27 (11-1). These three all lost their lone game in the Wildcard Round, and are our only 11-1s in 100 Tier. A group of 7 sits 10 points back, having gone 4-2 in the Wildcard Round and perfect since

COMMISH COMMENTARY

If you are top 407 in the main Playoffs Pick'em, you'll likely place by getting the Super Bowl correct.

In almost every year we've done the Playoffs Pick'em (this is our 6th), the Super Bowl is picked 50/50ish no matter the spread.

Perhaps there's some law that explains why that happens... but all Commish knows is it HAS happened most every year.

So if we assume a 50/50 pick rate, then given top 200 place, if you're in the big group of 101 people tied for 307th currently, you just need to get the pick right to be in the money.

In 100 Tier, it's possible that people with FIVE losses can place.

Our T122 folks are currently 7-5, and top 60 finish in the money.

So, again, presuming half of the top 120 pick each Super Bowl team, if you're at T122 and get it right, you might place.

This is the beauty of 100 Tier - with way fewer people playing and a larger % of participants getting paid, you can do things like cash at 8-5 in an NFL Playoffs Pick'em.

In last year's Super Bowl Props pool, 15/20 was the winning score.

And 12/20 was good enough to place.

This year, we upped it to 25 questions. So, to sit on the Super Bowl Props throne, likely something in the 17-19 range will get it done.
