FAST FACTS:

• The Detroit Lions garnered a stunning 89 percent pick rate
• Commish is pretty sure that's the highest pick rate in BFIG history (minimum 20 pickers)
• With two picks staring us down for the first time this year, we went flailing and screaming into the weak, mistake-riddled, winless arms of the Cleveland Browns (Detroit's opponent today).
• Given the Browns' next three opponents are scarcely picked teams (JAX, CIN, LAC), it's likely that BFIG 2017's storyline will mirror 2016's: We go as far as the Brownsyness takes us.
• The other major percentage story is BFIG and Second Chance's separation on pick #2. BFIG is on the Rams (home against Houston) at a still-staggering 62 percent, while Second Chance sits much lower at 39 percent.
• Most of that difference: The Steelers. 13 percent of BFIG is on Pittsburgh - largely because most have already picked the Steelers - while Second Chance is double that, at 26 percent.
• Put BFIG 1 and 2 together, and nearly 60 percent of all remaining title belt combatants are on Lions-Rams.
• Commish can't help but think back to 2009 - BFIG's inaugural year - when the Lions went 2-14 and the Rams went 1-15. Those two were solely responsible for allowing a pool all of 46 people deep to go the full 17 weeks.
• Since 2009, Green Bay is 15-3 against Chicago. Since 2009, the Bears have beaten the Packers at home ONCE (2010). The 2017 Bears are 3-5.
• ... and 6 percent of BFIG, in Week 10 and with $50,000 on the line, picked the Bears over the Packers at home.
• Before the season started, this would have been the most unbelievable pick stat of them all.
