The Bills-Colts snowfest that pushed several BFIGers into arm's length of this year's title belt was the coolest football game of 2017.
It was (insert all the overused football adages here), in a way that made those football adages feel proper and relevant again. A battle of attrition. A battle of who wants it more. Ugly. Hardnosed. Old school. REAL football.
I mean, how cool are these photos?
A 7-7 game that included maybe the best extra point in NFL history went into overtime, LeSean McCoy scampered in for a touchdown, and four bold (and fetal positioned) souls moved one step closer to the BFIG title belt.
BFIG is down to just seven; Second Chance is at 21; and BRANDO saw 87 percent of its ranks fall off, leaving it with just 165.

2017 has been a year of many second chances. For several weeks, Commish planned to award the #JetsDanceToAnything Cup, because the supposed worst team ever was actually OK (and supremely amazing at timeout dances).
But then the Jets faded, and a certain washed up clipboard holder's luster began shining brighter than we ever imagined it could.
Rising from the ashes of eternal 7-9 and armed with a new nickname, he briefly held the "NFL's highest rated quarterback" mantle while leading his team into NFC first round bye position.
And now, he is forever immortalized in the form of BFIG 2017's Second Chance trophy. Ladies and gentlemen, may Commish present to you...
