... that was the worst Week 1 in BFIG history. We've been at this for 10 years. Easily the worst. Thanks, Drew, Ben, and Matt. You should have formed a boy band instead.

Not even close. And 2011 BFIG had just 129 people.
The Saints home loss to the Bucs makes it twice in four years that exact game has knocked out at least 1,000 people. And the Saints are now tied with... yup, the Steelers (and the Eagles) for second-most losses/ties when picked in BFIG history.
Five of our previous nine champs are out. Our reigning champ, @footballnovice, picked the Ravens and has now won 26 BFIG games in a row.

Week 1 is the only week that allows picks till Sunday morning. From now on, picks lock at 5:20pm PT on Thursday - just before Thursday kickoff.

And remember, BFIG moves to two picks in Week 10. Every team you pick, even when you're picking two, must be a team you haven't picked before.

- Once again, picks lock THURSDAY at 5:20pm PDT. Zero exceptions. You can always change your pick, so make a pick early.
- Simply selecting your team DOES NOT LOCK IN YOUR PICK! You have to click "Submit picks". Make sure you see the pick confirmation page!
- You can create and join groups at any time. If you and your friends aren't competing for bragging rights or a side pot yet, get in a group together.
- Commish and GM play in all SZN competitions, but we can't win any money. This isn't DraftKings amateur hour.
