You knew the Browns loss was happening from the moment Zane Gonzales missed his first extra point.

Even when Tyrod Taylor connected with Antonio Callaway on arguably the prettiest touchdown pass of this young season, you knew the Browns loss was happening.

Gonzales missed the extra point (again), Drew Brees marched the Saints into field goal position, they made it, and the Browns lost.

Again.

Watching so much Browns football through the lens of BFIG over the past three years has given rise to a unique breed of football fatalism. I'm not sure it's even painful anymore. It's just... Browns.

We might look back at Week 2 and say "Saints pickers were super lucky" if both teams keep trending as they are. But for now, another Brownsy survivor escape, and a win rate a lot healthier than Week 1.

WEEK 2 HEALTH CHECK: BACK TO NORMAL (FOR NOW)

• Damage done: 3,337 started the week; 15 picked teams lost or tied, knocking out 484 people; 2,853 of us are moving on to Week 3.
• Could it have been worse? Yes. 22 percent of us were on the Saints, who squeaked out a win over the Browns they didn't deserve. It required two missed field goals, two missed extra points, and a straight butter Browns defensive effort in the final minute.
• Closest call: Broncos over Raiders Down 19-10 in the fourth, Case BEERKEGNUM brought Denver back and they won it on a field goal with six seconds left.
• Easiest win: Rams over Cardinals. 34 donut. The Sleeves didn't make it over midfield until the fourth quarter. Moving on.
• Team SZN record: 1-0. Commish will (again) attempt to make it beyond Week 3 for the first time since 2010. But the's already beaten The GM, who lost with the Lions in Week 1.

REMINDERS: SECOND CHANCE AND THURSDAY DEADLINE

Week 1 is the only week that allows picks till Sunday morning. From now on, picks lock at 5:20pm PT on Thursday - just before Thursday kickoff.
