Well, at least the Second Chance Pool will be a party.

The Vikings' pounding at the hands of this year's "Could they even beat Alabama?" team was BFIG's second-worst loss ever by knockout rate. (78% lost in the 2011 Elipocalypse game.)

And overall, it was BFIG's third-worst week ever. We went 10-15 in our picks, and 76.1 percent of us lost.

There was no way to see the Bills-Vikings result coming. Per Bill Barnwell, since 1990, underdogs of at least 15 points were 4-91, and had never won a game by more than seven points.

The Bills won by 21.

It's probably time to bring back the weekly "Most Vikings Fan" comment. And we'll award it from Second Chance comments, because that's where all of us will be...

WEEK 4 HEALTH CHECK: ANYONE LEFT? ANYONE?

• Damage done: 2,853 started the week; 15 picked teams lost, knocking out 2,178 people; 675 of us are moving on to Week 4.
• Could it have been worse? I mean, I guess. It's hard to say a 76.1% knockout rate could have been worse, but both the Eagles (vs. Colts) and Dolphins (vs. Raiders) overcame fourth quarter deficits, and both the Browns (vs. Jets) and Bears (at Cardinals) overcame 14-point first half holes. Had all those teams lost, 93% of us would have capitulated.
• Closest call: Bears over Cardinals. Arizona raced out to a 14-point first quarter lead, then promptly remembered who they were (RIP, Denny). A field goal with four minutes left gave Chicago a 16-14 win.
• Easiest win: Chiefs over Niners. Mahomes is my Tecmo Super Bowl QB because I called it first.
• Team SZN record: 0-1. For the third year in a row and fourth time overall, Commish lost in Week 3. Commish hates Week 3. Commish buys five 30-racks of BLL in anticipation of Week 3 and stores them in his Aaron Rodgers Got Hurt Again fallout shelter.
