Well, it had to come to an end at some point, right?

Dallas laid an absolute egg Monday night, and took out 27% of BFIG and 40% of Second Chance in the process.

The Cowboys were our third top pick to go down in the season's first nine weeks, after the Saints (Week 1 to the FitzMagic Show) and Vikings (Week 3 to the non-Petermans).

That leaves us with just 296 fierce souls battling for BFIG X's Title Belt - a Peterman QBR-like 4.3% of what we started with.

Lest you think this has been the toughest year ever, in 2015 we had just 0.7% of BFIG left heading into Week 10. In 2011, the whole damn thing ended in Week 10.

WEEK 10 HEALTH CHECK: WE'RE MORTAL, AFTER ALL

• Damage done: In BFIG, we went from 452 to 296 after five picked teams lost. In Second Chance, we went from 3,593 to 1,773 after 12 picked teams lost.
• Could it have been worse? No. Dallas nose-dived, but our other three top picks (KC, CHI, CAR) each scored at least 37 points. Related: They played Buffalo, Tampa and Cleveland.
• Closest call: Texans over cyborg kickers. In 2018, kickers make everything. The only exceptions are when you kick for the Browns, you're bizarro Mason Crosby, or random inexplicable moments when you don't make it. The Broncos had one of those moments, and the Texans escaped 19-17.
• Easiest win: Bears over The BFIG King. That's right. Commish is nominating Nathan Peterman as BFIG King. Loved by everyone, hated only by Week 3 Vikings pickers for not starting that game, Peterman is the gift that keeps on giving and the benevolent dictator we never knew we needed.
• Team SZN record: 1-1. The GM is a Texans fan. He picked the Cowboys. Bro.
