SZN Fam - Commish and GM have been at this since 2009. It'll forever be a labor of love, but we've turned it up.
We want The SZN to become the world's biggest and best sports community.
When you tell people you were an OG member of The SZN, it's gonna earn you huge, Wilfork-sized street cred.
Change #1:
MORE POOLS
You can now play in way more pools, for every sport we offer. We have 9 NFL pools this year, for example.
You get to choose which pools you want to join, and can get big discounts by getting a bundle of pools. (The "FULL NFL Bundle" of all 9 pools is 33% off.)
You repeatedly told us stuff like "do more survivors," "do more types of pools", "do pools with fewer participants (but keep the big ones)".
We couldn't have done this in the old "SZNs" model, which was all-or-nothing. Now that you can join individual pools OR get a bundle, we can bring you more pools without making it more complicated.
Change #2:
SZN SQUADS
Your Squad is like your team, and now EVERY pool is a team competition in addition to the normal individual competition.
We've added this, with extra Squad Prizes in EVERY pool, for free. You just have to create or join a squad.
We've always been about friends and family here. Now it literally pays to do our pools with them. We're the only site in the world that does this!
Every pool has two Squad Prizes: 1/ If your Squadmember wins the pool, and 2/ If your Squad is the best performing Squad. When either happens, YOU ALL GET PAID.
Commish and GM dream of riding the NFL Skycam like a horse and raining dollar bills over the crowd. Squads gets us closer to making this dream a reality.

BETTER WEBSITE
After enough "love you but you gotta make ____ easier" emails, we focused hard on improving the website experience.
You'll notice A LOT of pages that got facelifts. Some highlights:
1/ Your Profile now shows your entire pool history.
2/ Your "picking history" page for every pool shows you every pick and links to weekly results for each week you picked.
3/ Standings and results pages are much easier to navigate.
You can easily see your performance on top, along with anyone you follow. And there's a big dropdown to jump to any week, interval, or the overall standings page.
Forget what happened in the actual games that week? Use our "Game Outcomes" page to catch up:
4/ Your homepage is now a "what you need to do" dashboard
It'll tell you when picks are due. It'll tell you when there are new pools you can join. It'll tell you how close you are to getting another free pool every year via our SZN Legend referrals program.
So now when you go to www.theSZN.com, it should just "make sense". Everything is right in front of you.
5/ Your "Pools" tab shows all your active picks in one place.
With more pools comes the need for better organization. Your Pools tab now provides this.
You'll see pools that require picks on top, followed by any picks you've already made that are active now.

Thanks to The SZN BFIG Team for adding Weewoo to the Classic bundle. I/we greatly appreciate the additional, very fun competition outside Survivor comps.
