Friends in fast breaks,
Ball don't lie, and neither do our picks. Well, our point-chasing radar is on fire, and our big picks have been doing pretty well overall. But our team-win radar is still off just a bit - It's early in the season and there's still a lot to figure out. Let's review how we did. But first...

RESULTS SUMMARY
Points One-And-Done
Luka ain't done! He dropped 44 points this week, rewarding our second most pickers (51) with a stellar performance. It seems like he just HATES the Clippers, he seems to go off on them every time. And it's always remarkable since they have to supposedly-good defensive wings. Hats off to Luka.
Our top pick was J. Tatum, taken by 57 pickers. He put up a ho hum 23 points in a cakewalk victory over BKN where he struggled a bit.
We had 22 players score 25+ points, resulting in 433 picks getting a high quality performance. Our average points/pick was 28.2, another improvement over last week. That turns into an average of 56.5 points/picker.
For DNPs, 5 players from our roster didn't play, leading to 35 DNP picks. 9 players had double DNPs, meaning they received a zero for those picks. As always - Double check the injury report (linked on the pick page) on Thursday or Friday to make sure your picks aren't out. We leave a note on known injured players during the week and remove players with longer-term injuries to try and help prevent this issue, but you have to take control of your destiny here.
Survivor #1
There were 86 incorrect picks this week, resulting in 38 eliminations. We had a 72.9% win rate, but lost another 11.1% of the Pool in the process.
Our super heavyweight picks of PHI (93 picks) and BOS (89) both won handily, with no real reason to fret.
But then we had a chunk of our smaller picks take Ls, with MIL (20 picks), GSW (14), and WAS (12) all losing us more than ten picks each. MIL looked terrible. GSW had Draymond antics. And WAS looked herky-jerky, with multiple scoreless streaks in the second half costing them the game.
All 30 One-And-Done
WAS, MIL, and GSW hurt us here too, as did picks on MEM and NOP. Yet again, I have to point out that HOU played small spoiler again, taking out those NOP pickers.
We fell back down on our win rate this week, down to 63.6%. The teams we picked were 12-10, a big drop from what we've been doing before.
Yours in Roundball Rock,
The GM
