Friends in fast breaks,
This weekend had some HEAT. Not the Miami kind, losing a 21 point lead to the Bulls, but some AWESOME performances. How about Chet popping off for 36, including the buzzer-beater 3 to send it to OT where they'd beat GSW? Rook was showing OUT in the spotlight.

RESULTS SUMMARY
Points One-And-Done
D. Fox continued his monster run, scoring 43 on the way to another win. And as our top pick (58 picks, tied with N. Jokic), that's a huge boon to our totals.
Jokic managed 26 points, a totally respectable total alongside his 16 rebounds and 18 (!!!) assists. When creating our NBA Pools, we considered a Pool that would total Rebounds + Assists + Points instead of just Points. I wanted to call it "The RAP Battle". Jokic probably would have been untouchable in that format.
T. Maxey was our third most-picked at 48 pickers, and he belly flopped with 19 points, a big dip compared to his recent performance.
But 8/9 of our most picked players scored 26+ points, a stellar week.
Shout out to some of our super successful low-volume picks: K. Irving (39 points, 2 picks), L. Ball (37, 2), J. Clarkson (37, 5), and C. Holmgren (36, 2).
We averaged 28.4 points/pick this week, another new high for the SZN. Keep that stuff UP!
We're done with 4/6 weeks in Interval 1, leaving four more picks to fight for the first prizes of NBA SZN. @Graumann81 is currently in 1st with 291 points, a crazy 36.4 points per pick; Their "worst" pick was for 30 points. Keep the pressure up and finish the Interval strong. There are three Intervals and five places each, meaning every few weeks you've got something new to play for.
For DNPs, 2 pickable players from our roster didn't play, leading to 26 DNP picks. No players had double DNPs, awesome!
As always - Double check the injury report (linked on the pick page) on Thursday or Friday to make sure your picks aren't out. We leave a note on known injured players during the week and remove players with longer-term injuries to try and help prevent this issue, but you have to take control of your destiny here.
Survivor #1
There were 43 incorrect picks this week, resulting in 20 eliminations. We had a 84.6% win rate, but only lost 5.8% of the Pool in the process.
Our top 5 picks won, a very "safe" week for us. LAC was the closest to losing, with multiple lead changes and a 4-point play by Harden to seal the deal.
DEN was our biggest loss (15 picks), and while they brought it back to be close in the 4th, it just didn't seem in reach.
All 30 One-And-Done
Our 6 top picks won this week, again mirroring Survivor. CHI was our top loss (11 picks), followed by DEN (10). Sadly, our braver low volume picks (SAS, ATL, HOU, DET), all lost.
Shout out to the two MEM pickers though, that's how you get VALUE in this pool.
We had a new SZN high 82.5% win rate this week, with our picked teams going 14-9.
Yours in Roundball Rock,
The GM
