Friends in fast breaks,
We'd flirted with Survivor disaster a few times this season, with our second most-picked teams losing. But now we've got our first top-pick collapse with LAL losing to BKN. BKN is floundering wildly, but LAL was there to give them a little morale boost in the middle of their 4-16 record in their last 20 games. 2 of those 4 wins are against DET by the way. Ugh.
And with another trade in the books, our newly added T. Rozier moves from CHA to MIA. CHA still has 2 players available, so no changes needed. But not MIA has 4, which is admittedly more than we want for any one team. That's a lot of mouths to feed.

RESULTS SUMMARY
Points One-And-Done
D. Booker brought a flamethrower this week, posting a stellar 52 points. That's basically double our average points per pick, an awesome way to climb the leaderboard.
D. Lillard was close behind with 45 points. He's still got it, but playing with Giannis definitely seems to have given his performances far more variance this year as the number two options.
The best possible weekly performance was 97 points, taking Booker and Lillard. Our best was 90 points for @rpatenaude23, via Booker and Brunson.
Our other top scorers were J. Brunson (38 points), A. Sengun (37), J. Embiid (36) and J. Murray (35).
Two of our top three picks were a disapointment, with J. Randle posting 18 points and T. Rozier posting 17.
Best value pick goes to J. Murray, who scored 35 points for a single picker. Worst value pick goes to J. Green, posting 7 points for 2 pickers.
We scored 23.4 points per pick, welcome uptick from the last couple weeks.
For DNPs, 11 pickable players from our roster didn't play, leading to 89 DNP picks. This cause 14 Double DNPs, resulting in zero points.
As always - Double check the injury report (linked on the pick page) on Thursday or Friday to make sure your picks aren't out. We leave a note on known injured players during the week and remove players with longer-term injuries to try and help prevent this issue, but you have to take control of your destiny here.
Overall Standings Check In - @Dufresne is still in the lead but has 4 people nipping at their heels within 7 points. Prizes cut off at 20th, which sits at 672 points right now. There's half the SZN to go, so still plenty up for grabs!
Interval 2 Check In - @trashking isn't looking like trash at all, with 380 points. Interval 2 runs through Week 16 (just before the All Star game), so a few more weeks to go to try and get in the running. There are three Intervals and five places each, meaning every few weeks you've got something new to play for.
Squads Check In - Basket-Balling with Nigel sits in first at 1,955 points. But the gap between first and last is barely 100 points, which can easily swing over the SZN.
Survivor #1
There were 46 incorrect picks this week, resulting in 26 eliminations. We had a 57.7% win rate, a new low for the SZN. We lost 7.6% of the Pool in the process. We now stand at 24.3% remaining.
Our top pick, LAL, let us down tremendously with a loss to BKN. Our lower end picks of MIA, IND, BOS, and SAS also lost. By far our roughest week!
Overall Standings Check In - There are still 83 players alive, 25 with no mistakes and 58 with one mistake. We're getting close to finding out who will place!
Squads Check In - DFS Sweatshop is in the lead with 34 wins and their top 3 are all still alive. No other Squad still has their full top 3 alive.
All 30 One-And-Done
WAS was our worst pick this week, driving 27 losses. We really thought they could show up for us and beat SAS, huh?
Our win rate was 61.0% this week, a new low, and we went 9-9 on our teams picked.
Overall Standings Check In - We're down to a 12-way tie for the lead with 12 wins. Reminder that the NFL's All 32 Pool lasted through 11 weeks and 18 total picks with perfect records. We don't start double picks until Week 19, so we'll see if anyone can last until then staying unbeaten.
Squads Check In - Basket-Balling with Nigel is in the lead with 34 wins. Still a lot of season left!
Survivor #2
There were 93 incorrect picks this week, and elimination is finally here. We waved goodbye to 30 players, which is 12.4% of the Pool. We had a 74.7% win rate.
Overall Standings Check In - There are 211 players alive, 131 with no mistakes and 80 with one mistake.
Squads Check In - Multiple Squads with 6 wins so far, will take some time to develop.
Weekly Pick'em
Last week's great work clearly went to our head. Our win rate dropped to 53.6%, ouch. We averaged 8.0 correct picks out of 15 games.
Our biggest miss was ATL @ MIA, where only 7.8% correctly picked ATL to win. Close behind was BKN @ LAL, where only 10.5% got BKN correct.
Congrats to @Gamblers44, who went 13/15 to take home our weekly prize for best record!
Overall Standings Check In - @mwetherbee kept the lead thanks to their strong W1 showing, with 27 wins so far.
Squads Check In - Two-way tie right now between DFS Sweatshop and Basket-Balling with Nigel at 80 correct picks.
Yours in Roundball Rock,
The GM
