Friends in fútbol,
What a wild start to our "All 20" One-and-Done.
West Ham, playing almost-surely-to-be-relegated Sheffield, twice gave up a lead, highlighted by conceding a 104th minute (yes, you read that right) equalizer at the death.
That was part of EIGHT picks drawing, out of 14 clubs selected.
So, yeah, 98% of us came away with points. But a huge number of us didn't feel great about the sole point (vs. 3 points for a win).
The schedule has been wonky in January, owing to FA Cup matches. It'll start normalizing from this point forward.
LAST MATCHDAY'S RESULTS
What happened, in one paragraph
The top was in form - Arsenal smacked Palace (5-0), Liverpool smacked Bournemouth (4-0), and De Bruyne returned for Man City and scored and assisted in driving a 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle - but FIVE of the remaining seven matches ended in draws
EPL "All 20" One-and-Done
- Weekly performance: 1.89 points per pick. This is the stat to track in terms of whether you gained or lost ground on the field. We started respectably, but a lot of us we left wanting 3 instead of 1
- Winning picks: 78 of us bagged 3 points (45.6%), largely powered by 41 picks on Arsenal
- Overall Leader(s): 78 at 3 points. A LONG way to go
- Best Squad: 5 are at a perfect 9 points. Remember, we take the top 3 performers from each Squad
UPCOMING FÚTBOL POOLS
