I sent off the "OH YES WE'RE BACK" email this morning, and I've already received two responses from people claiming to be Bud Light Lime drunk. IT'S SO GOOD TO BE BACK.
We're entering year nine of BFIG. (For you rookies who are like, "The f*** is BFIG," - it's pronounced "BEE-fig", it's responsible for 95 percent of recent stock market gains and 100 percent of Patriots fandom outside Boston, and you need to study up on history right now.)
Year NINE. Do you think Brett Favre will come to our 10th anniversary rager? Wait, does anyone know Brett? GET HIM IN THE POOL!
My question to you today is simple: What type of football content do you want to read this SZN?
Here's a quick refresher on the stuff we've done before:
- Feature series, like which teams are most likely to torpedo your survivor pool dreams
- The weekly PICKS analysis and shtick, which Commish has been doing since 2009
- Your best pick comments each week, which I sometimes break out into their own post because they're so damn funny
- Crucial late-season analysis like the Golden Survival Spreadsheet
- Commish and BigDaddy predicted all games against the spread last season and kind of nailed it
- Bonkers "title belt probabilities" analysis like what @Hmchu put together last season
- Highlights from the weekend's games, which are awesome but perhaps so ubiquitous that you see them all elsewhere
- We've opened it up to all of you and received some hilarious community posts. Do you want more of this?
- Lastly, we started doing polls last year and got some pretty good fodder from them
Of course, I could also just link to this Eli Manning gif, every day of every week of every NFL season:
SEND ME WHAT YOU'LL FIND ENTERTAINING THIS SEASON... so I can scream to you "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!" in a few months.
Seriously. Anything. Get crazy with your suggestions. This is a place that does crazy pretty f***ing well.
You can reach me 24/7/365/12 at commish@theszn.com. Even better, you can reach BOTH The GM and me at yo@theszn.com
The 12 is for Aaron Rodgers. Because his greatness is always available. And the Green Bay Packers will win the Super Bowl.
